BELLBROOK FIRE/EMS

Join us!

When our neighbors need help, whether it's fire, EMS or rescue, we're there to answer the call.

But we can't do it alone.

Our ranks include professional firefighters, computer programers, accountants, college students and people from many other fields.

We're always looking for new members to join our team of professionals. No experience required, we will provide you with the necessary training.

The city will pay for any fire or EMS related training, including Firefighter I and EMT-Basic classes, so long as you commit to service after completing the course. The amount of time that the department asks for vairies depending on what class you take.  Members are also 'reimbursed,' based on their level of activity.

Prospective applicants must go through a series of interviews, a physical ability test, a work physical, a background check, and a driving record review. The application process takes several weeks to complete.

Once you become a member you will be outfitted in a complete set of firefighting or EMS gear. You will also receive a radio pager, and a uniform.

We also have openings for specialized volunteers. The Bellbrook Fire Department has devloped a Fire Corps. These volunteers help with public relations and other special events at the fire station. They also serve as a support group for the department. These individuals are people who would like to help their community, but don't necessarly want to obtain fire or EMS certifications.
